pickaWebFramework CMS is very flexible in terms of design. Web design of any complexity can be implemented basing on pickaWebFramework system. Our design team creates graphical design and after your final approval integrates it into functionality. We deliver the website which is ready for maintenance by customer with minimum effort.
Maintenance means that you can manage easily website pages (add, edit, delete) and their content (text, images, links, tables etc.) and no technical knowledge is required. It is as easy as editing in MS Word or similar text processors.
Website administrator (customer) has a possibility to log into a back-end system to be able to manage the website. Login form is not accessible to website visitors and only website administrator knows the URL to login form.
After successful login, website administrator will be able to use administrative menu and will be automatically pointed to the list of pages to manage pages, menus and page content. Administrative menu is customized by Pickaweb according to specific requirements of the customer and do not contain any unused features. This will allow to use the system effectively and with ease.
To close administrative session website administrator has a possibility to log out from the back-end system.
The list of pages allows to edit content and settings of pages, delete pages, move pages and change their statuses. All these actions reflected with special icons for each page in the list. By changing the status of the pages website administrator is able to show/hide pages for website visitors.
There is a possibility to add pages to menu and submenu, redirect one menu item to another, define which pages to show in the bottom links section.
The list of pages contains useful information about date/time of the latest changes of each page.
Editing page allows to set up page settings and edit content of the page using WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. Editing page content using WYSIWYG editor is easy to use and very similar to editing text in MS Word or similar text processors. It is very easy to change appearance of the text using predefined by Pickaweb set of styles (see drop-down list box with styles) as well as use images, documents of different formats, links, text formatting, tables etc. No HTML knowledge is required to format the appearance of the page content.
There is a possibility to optimize each page for search engines by specifying printer-friendly page name, set of meta keywords and meta description. Although all the pages of the website are dynamically generated, system will produce search engine friendly links which will help your website to be high ranked in search results.
There is a possibility to add such functionality as online contact form or online quote form to the editable page content by simply specifying the keywords like {_CONTACT_FORM_} or {_QUOTE_FORM_} in the content of the page. These keywords will be automatically replaced by forms and you will be able to receive feedbacks/quotes from the visitors of your website. The same can be used for news/events functionality.
One of the main advantages of websites developed basing on pickaWebFramework CMS is a possibility to customize all available content and functionality for multiple languages.
