Design and Development Process

In order to achieve the best results we assign a dedicated project manager and a team of people whose skills meet the project requirements. A project undertaken by Pickaweb undergoes the following stages:
Requirements analysis and specification
During this stage we analyze project requirements and develop detailed software specification. In more complex projects this iterative process may include feasibility study, proof of the concept or prototyping, preliminary effort and duration estimate.
Scheduling
Once the specification is completed we prepare development schedule with project costs. The schedule contains work breakdown structure with milestones and deadlines. The specification document and project schedule are used as a basis for the contract.
Development
After the specification and schedule have been approved, we start the development stage, which includes solution design, coding, unit testing and integration testing. Technical documentation (if required) is also produced during this stage.
Deployment and integration
At this stage the system is being integrated into the business environment, tested and handed over to the customer for acceptance testing.
Maintenance
Maintenance assumes implementation of change requests, defects removal and technical support of the delivered software.
